Today I will share to you all, about my car Suzuki Swift GL 1.5 2006 Air Conditioner Problem. The compressor unit has rattling sound on low engine RPM, and stop at more than 1500 RPM. The temperature still cool normally. Most of Suzuki Swift owner has the same problem as mine and there are no solution as long as I search on the internet.
So I’m searching this problem on Suzuki Swift Manual Book and found the section about rattling sound problem on air conditioning compressor. The book says possible cause is loose compressor clutch plate bolt. And the correction should be on:
- Re-tighten clutch plate bolt.
- Replace compressor if it was operated in this condition for a long time
Because my case is not happening at the long time, so I try to disassemble the compressor down from the hood.
After the compressor down, the next step I locate the clutch plate bolt as shown on the book. Then I re-tight all the bold.
The result is very surprising. Rattling sound is disappear at all. Now I can enjoy my air condition without noise!
